Leo visits Windsor Castle and the statue of Queen Victoria, who was born 200 years ago, in 1819.

Leo, the first of the eye-catching sculptures produced for the Lions of Windsor 2019 trail, received a very warm welcome as he visited potential display sites, met sponsors and explored the town centre this week.

Local residents, shop-keepers and visitors were amazed to see a 1.5m long white lion wandering around town and he was photographed and much admired as he went about his business. Children rushed over to see him and many a lion selfie was taken!

Leo will be heading off to London to the studio of fashion and textile icon Dame Zandra Rhodes, who will be decorating him in her unique and extravagant style… We can’t wait to see his transformation!
