About the sponsor South Western Railway is an English train operating company owned by FirstGroup and MTR Corporation that operates the South Western franchise. It operates commuter services from its Central London terminus at London Waterloo to South West London. We’re delighted to be supporting the Lions of Windsor & Maidenhead project. By December 2020, our £1.2 billion investment plans will bring longer, faster and more reliable trains with 52,000 more seats, across the morning and evening peak every day at Waterloo. On long distance services, existing trains will undergo a full refurbishment, improving comfort levels and returning to service looking like new.
About the artist James is a Commercial Artist and Visualiser with a postmodern and eclectic approach grounded in contemporary collage and digital manipulation. Often compositions form by chance, defying gravity and the norm; pulling together objects, 3D renderings and graphic fragments from the internet and personal archives to chaotically collide forming luxuriously textured future-scapes and portraits from a parallel place. James's work includes customising a bust (in the form of a football shirt) and a pillar inside Chelsea Football's new club store, commissions for Nike, live mural for Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Event in Granada Studios, Manchester, Geometric Graffiti mural and solo exhibition at The Book Club and live collage portrait for The Metro newspaper.
