LEO (Lot 37)
Sponsor: Leo Pharma • Artist: Forest Bridge School
About the lion Our school motto is “Per ardua ad astra” (through adversity to the stars) so we decided on stars to decorate our lion, which is in our school colours. We have had to be creative to ensure all students who wanted to decorate the lion have had the opportunity to do so. Due to the needs of some of our students we have had to adopt different painting styles – some children used a template to draw a star then paint it, some children painted the insides of the stars with support to do the edges and some students dabbed paint through stencils. We have all enjoyed painting the lion even though it has been hard to keep the paint in between the lions!
