Prints Owen of Old Windsor (Lot 31)
Sponsors: Hands-on Art Adventures Old Windsor Parish Council • Artist: Old Windsor Pre-School
About the lion Old Windsor Pre-School encourages learning through imagination and creative expression. Prints Owen represents our location on the magnificent River Thames and our heritage: our favourite water form is, of course, bubbles, lots of them! Our cubs dare to dream of the lions and unicorns on the Royal Coat of Arms and aim high – everyone’s home is their castle. Owen’s coat was printed on by the children with the help of Janet from Hands-on Art.

(Janet - Hands-on Art Adventures) Co-sponsors, Old Windsor Parish Council, said: "We are always looking for new and interesting ways of bringing the community together. Our lion cub will attract people into the village centre and hopefully be a boost for local businesses. This will be a different way of raising funds for charity and a fun and creative way of involving children at the pre-school. (Jane Dawson, Chair of Old Windsor Parish Council).
About the artist We are So excited to welcome a lion cub to Old Windsor. He will fit right in with our own lively youngsters and inspire the local community to get creative. We’ll never forget our Roarsome, Hands-on, decorating Adventure – Janet Craig & Old Windsor Pre-School.
