The first month of the Lions of Windsor & Maidenhead 2019 trail has been a roaring success, with thousands of visitors and residents following their lion trail maps as they track down the purr-fect pride across Windsor, Eton, Ascot, Old Windsor, Datchet and Maidenhead.

The beautifully decorated lion and cub sculptures are bringing colour, fun and contemporary art to the streets, leading people to places they would not have visited otherwise and delighting lion fans of all ages..

ROAR GOODBYE AUCTION PREVIEW WEEKEND – 9-10 November at the ex-Fenwick store in Windsor Yards near the station, where all of the lions and cubs will be gathered together in one giant pride to say their final farewells before the charity auction.  A great opportunity to take selfies with any you may have missed over the summer!

Tickets will be available soon via Eventbrite.  There will be lion painting workshops, lion themed activities, lion merchandise, a Windsor & Eton Brewery bar for refreshments, lion competitions and a raffle to win one of the supersized lion sculptures!

CHARITY AUCTION – 21 NOVEMBER – Runnymede Hotel & Spa.  The fabulous, supersized lion sculptures would look amazing in any home or garden!  Come along to the auction and bid for your favourite lion.  It will be a great night out!  Please email us at auction@lionsofwindsor.org to register your interest and for more information about booking tickets for the evening.  The auction will also be live online, so lion fans can bid from anywhere in the world!  More info to follow soon.
